Loma del Mar is found in Ixtapa, Mexico and was opened for the first time in September of 2008. Rather than calling it a hotel with rooms, the owner Victor Alakrazi has called his establishment a spa with rooms. The Loma del Mar has the only outdoor Thalasso (which means sea-water in the Greek language) spa in the world and is the largest of its kind in North America. The pools at this resort are actually filled with carefully monitored and maintained sea-water that has been transported from the ocean.   Cap Maison Resort is a five-star, 50 room, and 22 villa estate being built on an ocean bluff above their own secluded beach.  This resort will offer views over historic Pigeon Island and to neighboring Matinique.
